My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hate Notes was unputdownable for me.
Mark out a block of time on your calendar now for 11/6/18 because once you start this book, you’ll find you’ll want to hide from your family & friends to finish it.

I fell in love with not only the main characters, Reed and Charlotte but the secondary characters, as well.
Vi and Penelope are known for their unique and unpredictable storylines and this story was just more proof of the magic they can create.

Charlotte is a strong quirky heroine.
While trying to sell her own unworn wedding dress at a vintage clothing store, she accidentally comes across a gorgeous feathered bridal gown with a note stitched into the lining.
The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood. The note – swoon-worthy.
The note was so romantic, Charlotte not only bought the dress but decided to take a peek online to see what Reed looked like.
One of the bonuses of this book is visualizing Dusan Sunsjar, the book cover model as Reed. Sigh.
He’s one of the sexiest, manliest men I’ve ever seen and I’ve had him on and off as my phone’s screensaver since Vi and Penelope’s, Stuck-Up Suit cover reveal.

Without spoilers, let me just say that Charlotte’s hilarious banter, both internally and out loud to Reed kept me glued to my Kindle to see what would happen next.
Reed, as prickly as he seems at first just can’t help being drawn to Charlotte’s nutty behavior.
They have off the charts sexual tension, quick & clever witty banter and just seem to “get” each other as the story unfolds.
With a little help from fate, a well-meaning meddling grandmother and some unexpected twists, Hate Notes will make you smile/laugh/cry/swoon and beg for more.
