I absolutely loved this story.
Noah is swoooooooony!!
From dirty talking to just normal conversation I couldn’t get enough of him.
The fact that Corinne gave him T.M. Frazier’s last name was just the icing on the cake.
Kristen is awesome. An awesome Mom, friend, girlfriend, and even ex-wife.
There’s nothing worse than not connecting with a heroine or shaking your head at their decisions and I didn’t do that once with her.
Recovering from a marriage to an emotionally abusive jerkface husband, she found her strength and didn’t wallow in past mistakes – another pet peeve of mine.
I’ve read all of Corinne’s books and LOVED that characters from past books were woven into their story – – but not in the way that would make it necessary to have read the previous books.
GAAAAH!! It was receiving bonus scenes as a gift!!!
Most importantly, I love when a couple is open about their feelings for each other with no game playing.
It’s refreshing and it’s more realistic to me.
That’s one of my biggest frustrations in romance books.
Corinne has proven that there CAN be angst without it dealing with “unsaid feelings” yet it seems that so many stories use that as a default.
The book was amazing on audio and I stayed up until 3:20 am resetting the sleep timer over and over to see how it ended.
This will definitely be a future re-read/listen.
